Easter Egg Hunting

It was very busy at the egg hunt this year. The sun actually came out!!
I was the basket holder while Alex ran for the eggs. He did pretty well this year, as long as the Easter Bunny didn't get close to him, he's scary!!

Nick bowled on a youth league this year on Tuesdays. It was 2 person teams. He was on a team with one of his friends little sisters.

His partner could not attend the "Championship Game", but he didn't need her. Their team fininshed in 1st place!!!! Way to go Nick.

Painting The Walls

We had a busy weekend. We painted the walls in the living room, dining room and hallways. Then we had new carpet installed on Monday. It turned out pretty good. Putting the new wall color on. It is very close to the same color that it was, it's a little more yellow, but it sure looks clean and new.

Tearing Up The Old Carpet

We tore up the old before the installers came the next day.
This was all sand under the carpet, don't we love the dunes??

We had to leave a little carpet for the night so Alex could play. The installers didn't come until the next morning.

Lone Pine Farms Corn Maze

We took the boys to Lone Pine Farms today. The corn maze is amazing. This was the first time we had ever done this. The corn is on over 10 acres and it's over 2 1/2 miles of trails through the maze. It took us 1 1/2 to 2 hours to finish. We got our exercise for the day!!
That's a lot of corn!! Alex was a little tired of the whole thing by the end.
At night they do the haunted corn maze. This was one of the spooky tunnels.
This one made Alex a little nervous. It was kind of dark in there. I bet it could be pretty scary at night.
